Although our venue is in Washington, PDX is the best airport to fly into (~45 minutes from Skamania Lodge).

Portland International Airport

This is our wedding venue. If you plan to stay here we recommend booking as soon as possible, as rooms can get pretty pricey. Skamania does not offer room blocks, but you can use the following discount code to get 10% off room rates: 1YV6UN **UPDATE - The lodge is already full on Friday, 7/11. We recommend booking at either Bonneville Hot Springs Resort or Best Western Plus - Cascade Locks, as we will be setting up shuttle service to/from the venue.

Hotel Stevenson

Located in Hood River, OR (~35 minutes east of Skamania Lodge). Be prepared to cross the Bridge of the Gods or Hood River-White Salmon Bridge (tolls each way ~$3). There is no Lyft/Uber in the Gorge, so plan accordingly and drive safe.

Ride bikes or e-bikes to iconic Gorge waterfalls, swimming holes, viewpoints, and the new Mitchell Point Tunnel. Now accepting bookings for 2025!

Bike the Gorge

Walk a two mile loop trail which gains 300 feet in elevation (rated 'easy'). This incredible walk begins with a bridge crossing next to a dramatic waterfall. After another half mile we come to a junction where the trail loops, using two scenic bridges to offer vistas of the canyon and the falls from either side of Tanner Creek.

Wahclella Falls Trail

Hike a two mile loop trail which gains 400 feet in elevation (rated 'moderate'). This Columbia River Gorge trail climbs fairly quickly to an elevation above the falls, crosses the creek on an old fallen log, and passes through a picnic area before returning to the trailhead.
